The Office in Berlin has a series called The World According to, and The World According to Gert Jan Kocken is out now. It takes the form of a Bilderatlas compiling and arranging aniconic and iconic images of God—including of course His Incarnation.

Since I had a tiny advisory role, I guess I can plug the project here without turning this into an actual blog.

This is a pseudo-blog chronicling my critical, historical and/or theoretical writings on modern and contemporary art and culture. It is intended purely as a more or less regularly updated list of my own writings, as well as of my occasional activities as a "Sunday curator." This isn't necessarily a complete listing. I may not mention some small occasional writings; the focus is on texts that really reflect my current interests and research.

I try very hard not to turn this into an actual blog, though from time to time circumstances may force me to post comments and reflections on cultural politics and on my own practice.I always try to link to the publications in which my texts appear, and if possible to the online versions of the texts themselves. Unfortunately, not many of my articles are available online in their entirety, or for free, and currently I'm not able to post PDFs myself.
